My journey here on Medium over the past four months has been full of those tiny yet huge morale-boosting milestones. Each one has been more satisfying than the last. But if you were to ask me to mention one of the best among them all, I would, without hesitation, point you to that blue book watermark which appears right next to my name.(Check out my book here)
I mean, why wouldn’t it be the best one? At the very least, it resembles that blue tick mark on other social media platforms, the one that makes you look like an influencer.
Even though Medium didn’t pay me for being a verified author, it still brings me supreme joy because, as an avid reader, I understand how difficult it was in the past to become an author. The obstacles were monumental enough to shatter your dreams of publishing a book.
So yeah, even though technological advancements have made book publishing much easier, we authors still have a great responsibility on our shoulders.
