This Formula Determines your Medium Earnings
There’s more to it than reads only.
We all have our different reasons to write on medium and whatever that reason maybe we definitely love to see our dollar columns flourish as we go onto check our new or previous article stats after the daily update.
There Adjacent to that dollars column we find read and views for that particular article and immediately we start to think that these are the only factors which decide our earnings.
Yes, even though they are but that’s not the whole story about how medium calculates our earnings from a story.

Now as you can see that in my article Understanding evaporation: The Key to Staying cool I have got a lot more views and reads as compared to my second article To Fellow Writers on Medium and yet there is this significant difference in the earnings.
It’s evident from this that there is more to it and here’s what I found out based on my research and experience.
