I think we all have our Why’s, which ultimately dictate our decisions and, in turn, our actions. Ultimately, those Why’s reflect our core values. So, in short, our actions are a reflection of our core values.

For me, up till now, I have always been driven by a very strong core value, i.e., adding value to the lives of others through my innate talents. Whether it was through volunteer work in college, teaching, donating as much as I could through my savings, or selecting engineering as a profession, this value has remained central to my decisions.

I am very sure that this core value of mine will remain the same, with the only difference being the way I actually achieve it as I progress through the journey of life.

As you might have guessed by now, writing for me is a way to express my core value, i.e., I write to add value for my readers. But I think, for all of those who have been kind enough to show support and read my stories, a bit of skepticism could arise.

Although I have written about personal development and growth on Medium, which very obviously reflect my core value, most of my articles have been on poetry and fiction as well.

So, one could ask: How do they add value?

This would actually be a very valid question. But the point is, even though the value of the articles related to poetry and fiction might not be clear instantly…
