Yes, but not in a way you might suppose

Yes, its a big claim but stick with me to hear out my narrative actually.

For the past 3 months, although my life hasn’t changed significantly, Medium has added an element of excitement to my otherwise boring and predictable routine
.
To be precise, it has made my predictable routine bearable by adding a touch of excitement. Let me put those into words so you can get a feel for them.

• In my 22 years of life, I have not known more than a dozen people with whom I like to talk (including my family). Although I am not an introvert, I am very selective about the people with whom I can talk and open up. But here on Medium, as you can see, I have 2.7k followers, which I am not claiming is a lot, but for a person who knows only a handful of people, this is a hell of a lot more than I would have expected. It sometimes overwhelms me, to be honest.
• Not to mention this rush of adrenaline which actually prompts me immediately to navigate my apps folder on my phone, open Medium, and then those jumpy endorphins chip in as my retina detects that green spot (somehow it has become a signal for endorphins to go off, very similar to traffic lights) on that ever-so-quiet bell, which has never made my eardrums vibrate.
