A bigger Dilemma than Medium’s Business crisis.

Mediums’s Decline is not Affecting all the Writers. Rather some are benefiting from it but is it ethical?

It seems that Medium has become the land of recycled ideas. A quick scroll through the feed will likely show you post after post about the decline of Medium as Platform and Business. At first, it’s all about sharing valuable insights with the world.

But somewhere along the way, many writers forgot why they started — opting instead to churn out content that adds little value. The real question is: has Medium fallen into a creative drought, or is it simply stuck in a cycle of financial desperation?

Here’s the thing. We’ve all been there, right? The allure of the dollar signs, the enticing promise of success, and the ever-increasing desire to make it big on Medium.

I can’t say I’m immune to this either. But when I look around and see the same cookie-cutter articles repeated over and over, I can’t help but wonder: where did the real writers go? Medium is no longer a platform where fresh ideas and true originality thrive. Instead, it’s become a space where people follow trends, copy others, and recycle the same content for the sake of earning a quick buck.
